| Jefferson Airplane August 13, 1965-- Marty Balin, got together musicians , Paul Kantner, Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady and Skip Spence, and vocalist Signe Toly Anderson. They made a stage debut at Balin's new Matrix Club in San Francisco. Later in the year they will gain national recognition as first San Francisco rock group to sign a major recording contract. |
| Jeff Beck The JEFF BECK GROUP made their debut on March 3, 1967 at Finsbury Park, London (now called The Rainbow Theatre). The lineup was: Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, Rod Coombes (drums) and Ron Wood (bass). The JBG made it's American debut at the Fillmore East in New York City on June 14, 1968. They opened up for the Grateful Dead. Here in web form are eight "fanzines" dedicated totally to Jeff Beck.
