Ten Years After Formed in Nottingham, and debuted in 1967, Ten Years After is the one of most important British Rock bands to contribute to the Rock music scene when ROCK was really ROCK. They achieved superstar status through their famous 11-minute "I'm Going Home" at the Woodstock Festival in 1969. One of my all time favorite Rock groups, with axeman Alvin Lee's "FASTEST IN THE WEST"style.~ Hippie Rider
Alvin Lee Forever immortalized by his howling, riffing, awesome performance at Woodstock, legendary guitarist Alvin Lee has never stopped delighting audiences with his powerful performances and incredible talent.
The Turtles The ultimate pop group... strong vocals, captivating melodies, interesting arrangements, innovative production and they were hilarious. Three Dog Night Brought together originally in 1968 by Danny Hutton, with the novel concept of show casing lead singers who could also harmonize together, the group was enormously successful right from the start. From 1969-1974, nobody had more Top 10 hits, moved more records, or sold more concert tickets. Here you will find news, photos, discography, biographies and more.
Traffic A group of musicians who have emerged from pop's deafening din with a sound as refreshing and rare as an untraveled country lane. It was just such a country lane, in fact, that lead to the remote cottage hidden in the vast seclusion of the Berkshire Downs where, early in 1967, four voluntary exiles first brought Traffic into being. When the original gathering of Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi, Chris Wood, and Dave Mason fled London's hectic pop scene for Berkshire's peace and poppies, they took with them a combined wealth for musical heritage and experience ... and then found themselves faced with the arduous and unenviable task of sorting it all out.~Part of an article from Traffic Complete, circa 1970
