To the Children at Sauganash Community Church,

I am a mental health Chaplain here at Good Samaritan Hospital. I am writing to you to thank you for the beautiful cards that you made for my patients.
   I want you to know that when the people opened your cards everyone of them was deeply touched by the care and love that went into making them.
   You brought a smile and encouragement to people who are very sad and struggling with mental illness.
   I wanted you to know that your cards were a sign of hope and joy to them.

This letter was received after Chaplain Myron Erickson delivered about 40 Easter cards that the children made during Children's Church, to Good Samaritan Hospital. (We also made cards and sent them at Valentine's Day.) Myron is being transferred to a different hospital, but Chaplain Bowie asked if he could continue to send the cards to Good Samaritan. She liked receiving them that much. Myron has arranged for other churches in that area to provide them with cards so that he could deliver ours to his new location.
   Isn't it neat to see how children can make a difference in someone else's lives!
