WHAT IS COOKING ON MY DESK TOP..................WATCH OUT!!

I never knew anything about cooking just 2 years ago. I was always fascinated by great cooks and the great recipes in my country. I am a big fan of great Chef Sanjeev Kapoor and off late Tarla Dalal. Sanjeev Kapoor makes you feel that cooking is an art and one must enjoy cooking according to him which will make a lot of difference in the taste of the food that you make.

I just love eating .............anything for that matter, be it a typical traditional food, fast food or simply junk food. I love Indian spices and like a lot of spices in my daily routine. But I feel I am more into this fast to make good to eat methods rather then the conventional method of cooking.

After I visited Japan, I learnt a lot of simple ways of making food much faster and tastier. Japanese do not have a very long processing system, unlike in Indian kitchen which takes lot of time to process the food like long hours soaking, frying, boiling grinding and
seasoning.

I have broadly classified the recipes into 3 kinds, the Typical South Indian,North Indian and Fast Food. Further classified into the following for your convienence......and quick refernce.

(i) Before we could start cooking my most Important Tip is that keep all the things organised
before making any dish, not that your food is burning on the stove and you are searching for
the ingredients.
(ii)I have not mentioned the exact measurement of some ingredients in some places, it is upto you to go adventurous on all the recipes here...................bring in your taste and your ideas, make it more spicy or whatever you want it to be.
