Apart from gay venues, there is nothing much  else here - except a tethered balloon behind the Royal Vauxhall Tavern (you can ascend for views of the city) and our secret intelligence services - for a clandestine organisation, they have chosen to locate themselves in the most outrageously camp building on the bank of the Thames.  You can't miss it - It is opposite the Vauxhall tube exit, and next to Vauxhall bridge. However, to fully appreciate its splendour, go onto Vauxhall Bridge which crosses the Thames, and which is just opposite the tube exit. From there you can admire the building's lovely terraces adorned with pretty rows of clipped conical trees. Very Marie Antoinette.
