Fire Drakekh
Fire Drakekh is an highly Artificial Discipline based upon the control of the Fire Element. It is believed this control exists Because of the intimate connection of the Fire Drakul with the Koldun Path of Fire. But for the same reason, the Fire Drakul must spend more Vitae each night to remain active...
* : Fire Sense of the Night Dragon
By using the power of her Drakekh and her Willpower, the Fire Drakul can see through any fire larger than a torch's as if she was at the fire position.
System: Perception+Auspex Roll, Diffculty 7.
The Fire Drakul must Roll Perception+Auspex Roll to detect
for 3 turns any source of fire within the range. She must then
choose one and concentrate by using a Willpower Point. She
can, then see everything around the fire source targeted as
if she was there.
Successes | Range |
---|---|
1 | 1,5 meters |
2 | 3 meters |
3 | 6 meters |
4 | 12 meters |
5 | 24 meters |
+1 | (range x 2) meters |
** : Fire Claws of the Dragon
By using her Vitae, the Fire Drakul can grow highly heated claws doing horrible burn damage. The claws seem to be red-hot, and can be easy to detect for this same reason.
System: 1 Blood Point.
The Claws need one Turn to grow. The Damage is
Strength + 1, and is Aggravated (consider it as
fire damage for purpose of Vampire Soaking...).
Damage by this claws (or the simple view of them
can provoke Rötschrek to Vampires...
*** : Wings of the Fire Dragon
The Fire Drakul can now grow bat-like wings, sprouting from her back. These enable her to fly almost as well as Gargoyles.
System: 1 Blood Point.
This power actually is similar to Flight *** (see the Guide
to the Camarilla, p115).
**** : Fire Breath
This power is the cause for the great (and justified) terror the Drakul provoke in the heart of their enemies: The Drakul can breath a great conflagration of liquid fire towards her enemies.
System: 1 to 3 Blood Point, Willpower Roll.
This power works like the Path of Thaumaturgy: The Lure of
Flames, with the following exception: No matter the successes
of the Willpower Roll, the minimum successes is considered
to be 3 for rule purposes. One Blood Point is needed for the
Levels 1 and 2, two for the Levels 3 and 4 and three for the
Level 5 (Inferno). The Flames are considered automatically
released. The range of the power is Drakekh level multiplied
with the height (or length) of the Drakul.
***** : Fire Dragon Form
The Fire Drakul can now revert to her other natural form, that is the form of the Fire Dragon. Her draconian body length is equal to her humanoid height, as is the length of her draconian tail. Her neck plus her draconian head's length is equal to half her original height. The Dragon has claws and wings (as described in the powers above), and a magma-colored scale hide protects it from most damage, including fire!
System: 5 Blood Points.
The Claws and the Wings of the Drakul are considered
automatically extended when this power is in use.
The Fire Dragon have the following traits: Str+3,
Dex+2, Sta+3. She can also soak all Aggravated Damage
(but sunlight) with her natural Stamina. Note that in
this form, the Fire Drakul is immune to fire damage,
but because of her magma-like body, will take lethal
damage of anything that could decrease her body heat
(like snow tempest, or rain, or even falling in water!).
The Damage is similar in rule terms to Fire Damage (see
Vampire: The Masquerade, Revised Edition, p227).
A Fire Drakul under rain would suffer each turn she is
exposed 3 Lethal Damage, with a difficulty of 3 to soak.
The same Fire Drakul would suffer 2 Damage, with a difficulty
of 8 or 9 to soak, if half her body was to fall into
a cold river...
