My real name is Desiree, a 15 year old Native American female citizen of the United States of America. I know, to the day, how long I've been infatuated with Dragonball Z (and it's been a little over year, a suprisingly short amount of time). I much prefer to watch DBZ subtitled or in plain Japanese format. But like all otakus say, you'll take what you can get! ^_^ I know QUITE a bit about the storylines, marital status, and just about anything else that occurs in DBZ. So, feel free to ask me a question if you've got one.
I asked some of my friends what things I should add in this page, and here it goes....
Favorite Movies: For DBZ, it's gotta be #12 Rebirth of Fusion ^_^; American movies, well, I've just decided that The Silence of the Lambs is my new favorite movie ^_^ I'm also a hardcore fan of The Mummy ^_~
The Mummy Returns, you say? I saw it, first day it came out, first showing. In my opinion, The first movie is better. But it all depends on what appeals to you in a movie. I liked the second one's humor... but I thought that overall it was hokey. It's not serious and scary like The Mummy. All in all, if you loved The Mummy, I encourage you to, sometime, go see The Mummy Returns.
Music: As I've mentioned in the MP3 page... I love JPOP, but mostly just Hayashibara Megumi and of course Hironbu Kageyama ^_~ For American music, I like punk rock [even though I don't know the names of hardly ANY groups or songs ^_^] Blink 182 is one of my favs, I also like older rock like AC/DC, Guns and Roses, and KISS, and Queen is awesome! My new music craze is Bloodhound Gang :P I don't usually go and buy lots of CDs, but I bought both "Hooray For Boobies" and "One Fierce Beer Coaster" at the same time.
My favorite DBZ character HAS to be Vegeta. I think all his issues and stubborness and pottymouth-ness is hilarious! I always like the bad and tuff guys ^_~ For the same reasons, I think Piccolo is kewl too.
My favorite colors are black and orange ^_^
I'm quite antisocial, and have an inability to physically interact with people I don't know (but computer correspondence is different). I have difficulty making new friends, a problem I had to face when I moved.
I was also told by my friends to add that:
- I'm smart
- I like to work/play on computers [A LOT!]
- I recently moved to where I'm at now
- I used to live right near Dawson's Creek [I've never watched the show, though]
Things I like to do include drawing, watching DBZ, weight lifting [that's not to say I get much of an opportunity to do that...], read, and sit at my computer for extended lengths of time chatting, updating, downloading, and surfing ^_^
