The International Day of Prayer
Thursday, May 3rd marks the National Day of Prayer here in the US. This is a day designated for prayer with an emphasis on praying for the well being of Christians who are being persecuted for their beliefs.

The International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church is an organization fighting for the rights of Christians around the globe.
Here in America we take our religious freedoms for granted. In many other countries, Christians are still brutally persecuted.
Please take the time to visit their
web site and get up to date information on what is happening to Christians all over the globe. Learn what you can do to help in their fight for freedom. The freedom of all of God's children!
"If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is part of it." (I Corinthians 12;26-27).

"The Narrow Road" -- New Video Release
Moved by the plight of the persecuted Church, members of music group Jars of Clay have raised their voices to help shatter the silence. In mid-2000, the group traveled with Prayer for the Persecuted Church and its partner organizations to Asia to meet with Christians there and hear their stories. The Narrow Road, the latest PPC video release, takes you on the journey of persecuted believers in Egypt, Vietnam, and China. Listen to their voices. Watch their faces as they speak of God's faithfulness in the midst of terrible hardship. Share their burden of suffering by uplifting them in prayer.
The cost of the video is $20 and includes a complimentary CD-ROM "This Road" which includes music from Jars of Clay. (CD-ROM alone is $5).

Actress Tells of 'Extraordinary' Ministry Offering Healing in the Heart of Hollywood
'I just know that God can do anything,'
Dyan Cannon says in TV Interview

Dyan Cannon, the Oscar-nominated actress who is taking God's love to the heart of Hollywood, spoke last night about doubt she had to overcome before launching her unlikely ministry.
The movie and TV star who preaches and prays for the sick at regular services held on the CBS lot once did not believe that God can heal people, she told CNN talk-show host Larry King. "But I've changed my mind," she said on "Larry King Live." "It's awesome."
