9.1 Tangled Webb, Part 2 (4 of 4)

Harm, Webb, Gunny, and Mac try to find the terrorist ring-leader from the previous episodes (see Season 8), while Harm, Webb, and Mac are caught up in a tangled romantic triangle.



9.2 Shifting Sands

Harm returns to Washington, D.C., only to find that Admiral Chegwidden has processed his resignation, and "Commander" Rabb tries to find a job he can do as ex-Commander Rabb. Meanwhile, Mac is assigned to defend the daughter of a high-ranking member of the US military, when the daughter--a Petty Officer--is accused of desertion after she stays with a Bedouin tribe for years while she was thought dead.



9.3 Secret Agent Man

Harm, now a CIA agent, flies his first mission. It's supposed to be a very simple drop-off mission, but it naturally becomes much more...Meanwhile, Midshipman Mikey Roberts finds himself in a dilemma when a friend asks him to testify to the friend's honor at an Academy trial, but everyone Mikey asks gives different advice.



9.4 The One Who Got Away

Harm, taking out a very special CIA plane for a test run, ends up doing more than just testing the incredible plane. Mac, back in Washington, must defend a soldier who--although he managed to walk hundreds of miles across the Iraqi desert to safety while his fellow Marines were captured--is accused of dereliction of duty. But, the case isn't quite as easy as it first seems...

9.5 Touchdown

Harm is sent on a CIA mission to recover a compromised agent in Lybia, but the agent wants to brings more than just himself along for the ride. Plus, once they're in the air, the bulky transport is chased by a much faster fighter, which causes serious damage to the plane. Now, Harm must figure out what he can do to prevent all their deaths. At JAG HQ, Mac defends a young man accused of plotting with the Al-Quada to kill his fellow soldiers--a plot that was never carried out. Sturgis, along with Bud--who the Commander is still very hostile towards--, prosecutes almost viciously.

9.6 Back in the Saddle

Fired from the CIA for getting too much publicity, Rabb is forced to look for a new job. However, he soon finds one: cropdusting, with a 14-year-old as his "boss." Meanwhile, JAG Lawyer Commander Carolyn Imes is prosecuted after it is discovered that she never actually passed the bar exam and, thus, is actually not legally a lawyer.

9.7 Close Quarters

Because Commander Imes--who was recalled to JAG HQ from Europe to replace Harm--is no longer a member of the Navy, Admiral Chegwidden persuades the SecNav to reinstate Rabb's commission. At the same time, Sturgis heads to a submarine in the Pacific in order to find out what 10 North Koreans, rescued by the sub after they were stranded, were doing there.

9.8 Posse Comitatus

Harm and Mac investigate the case of a Marine who interfered with a hostage situtation in the United States, involving a policewoman. JAG must determine whether the soldier violated the "Posse Comitatus" Act. Meanwhile, Sturgis probes a Navy doctor's claim that the doctor's Quaker beliefs make it impossible for him to continue serving in the Navy.

9.9 The Boast

Admioral Chegwidden and Harm become involved in a case involving assault charges filed against a Navy baseball pitcher when he seriously hit a Marine batter. And, Mac tries to defend a Marine who boasted to his date--who turned out to be a reporter--that he had killed an Iraqi POW without provocation.

9.10 Pulse Rate

A sailor is electrocuted and killed during routine maintenance onboard the USS Gillcrist, and Harm and Mac must discover whether it was due to dereliction of duty or something more serious. Coates, meanwhile, is assigned the task of organizing the Admiral's wedding...

9.11 A Merry Little Christmas
Guest Stars



Harm tries to get custody of his former crop-dusting boss, Mattie, even as he tries to defend Sturgis from racial bias charges stemming from when Sturgis went onbaord the Korean sub. And Coates tries to make sure the Admiral and Harriet have a good Christmas.

9.12 A Girl's Best Friend
Guest Stars



Meredith's diamond is knocked out of her ring, and Mac, who learned a great deal about diamonds from her adventures with Webb, suspects it isn't a legally-cut stone. The Admiral investigates with interesting results. Meanwhile, Mattie and Coates move in together so that Mattie will have someone to watch over her.

9.13 Good Intentions

A male Petty Officer is accused of murdering a female Lieutenant with he was drunk, however he claims to have no memory of anything that happened. At the same time, a Navy SEAL commander is accused of committing larceny and fraud.

9.14 People v. Secnav
Guest Stars



The International Criminal Court accuses the current SecNav of war crimes, and Harm, Bud, and Mac must defend him. Meanwhile, Bud's son disappears, and he becomes frantic.

9.15 Crash
Guest Stars



Mac and Harm investigate a FA-18 crash that appears to have been a suicide, while Mattie runs into trouble with a teacher at her school when the teacher discovers how little work Mattie did during the period that she managed her crop-dusting company. Trying to deal with both crises, Harm discovers the problems of balancing a Navy career and a job as a father.

9.16 Persian Gulf

Sadik Fahd, who was the villain Mac and Webb were chasing down in Paraguay, returns to stalk and threaten Mac and her friends.

9.17 Take It Like a Man

Mac must deal with what happened in the previous episode while Harms tries to help Mattie get over her anger towards her father. And Bud tries to keep an eye on his client's precious snake...

9.18 What If?

As the JAG team celebrates together at a restaurant, Harms wonders what would have happened if he'd told Mac that he loved her when she tried to seduce him, and a very strange future unfolds in his mind.

9.19 Hard Time
Guest Stars



After convicting a Marine, Mac is decked by that same Marine and complains to the Colonel in charge of the prisoner's escort. In response, he sends her to escort the prisoner to Miramir prison. At the same time, Harm looks into the case of a Fleet Training Instructor who lost his job, although he remained in the Navy, when it was revealed that he had HIV.

9.20 Coming Home
Guest Stars



A Marine Private, First Class, is killed in combat in Iraq, and his mother wishes to make her pride for him known. Harm helps her quest when Mattie, who is a friend of the Marine's sister, tells him the story. In a parallel investigation, Bud is assigned to examine whether the vest the Private was wearing was badly made and whether it contributed to his death.

9.21 Fighting Words
Guest Stars



A Marine General, who is instrumental in the combat going on in Iraq, publically seems to condemn Islam while making a sermon at a Christian church--wearing his uniform. Harm and Mac try to determine exactly what was said and whether he can be convicted for it. Meanwhile, an investigation is begun into whether Sturgis has a bias against Koreans, and Bud is picked to be the primary investigator.

9.22 Trojan Horse

MI-6 tips off the Navy that a great deal of heroin is being smuggled by a ship in their area, but after they apprehend the vessel, they find a kilo of the drug has disappeared between when they captured it and when it is loaded into storage. Harm and Mac must quickly figure out who did it, considering that the United States's reputation is on the line. Also, Bud discovers the odd world of the music industry when he tries to persuade a major music company to let a Corporal serve in Iraq without being sued after the Marine signed a contract with the company.

9.23 Hail and Farewell (1 of 2)

As the trailer put it, "Someone's leaving JAG; someone's having a baby; someone's gone forever." At the same time, Mac receives disturbing information regarding the chronic lower-back pain she's felt since confronting Sadik, although what that information is has not been revealed.
