       Cid (a classic name in the FF series) is a dirty-mouthed but warm-hearted pilot whose lifelong dreams were shattered into pieces by Shinra. He is a highly skilled pilot who was supposed to be the first man in space. With an intense love for flying and a broad knowledge of machinery, he joins Cloud's party to try to regain what little was left of his dream. He fulfills it in the end, of course. He is an exceptional warrior, with good all-around stats, not to mention, an excellent sense of humor.

Kasa no Miko's note: Cid is another of my favorite characters in FF7. I just adore his smart-aleck attitude. And I used him in the final battle, too. He is just so handy, with his airship and all. And he flies so well that Cloud doesn't even get airsick.

Cloud: I never got airsick after Hojo experimented with me. Cool, huh?

Kasa no Miko: (blink blink) Why didn't you say so?

Cloud: ...You didn't ask.

Kasa no Miko: (sweatdrop) Well...what can you say about Cid?

Cloud: ...He smokes a lot, drinks a lot, swears a lot and corrupts minors. He shouldn't be a pilot.

Kasa no Miko: (puzzled) Well, what should he be?

Cloud: He should be a Turk.

Reno: (bursts in) What the #@%^?! Is that some kind of %$&*# insult?!

Cloud: See what I tell ya.

Kasa no Miko: (sparkling eyes) RENO!!!

Reno: $#!^! I'm gettin' the hell outta here! (runs away, Kasa no Miko chases after him)

Cloud: (shrugs, goes back to...um...doing nothing)
