              A childhood friend of Cloud, Tifa has strong feelings for the young man. She is usually cheerful and optimistic, but in reality, she carries with her a burden of worries and concerns. She owns a bar in Sector Seven, and is one of the founding members of AVALANCHE. A student of a martial arts master, Zangan, Tifa can deliver a flurry of shocking blows to any opponent. She is also an adept magic-user, and has high agility. However, her limit breaks are somewhat tricky, and it takes a player lots of skill to perfect them.

Kasa no Miko's note: Tifa is one of my least favorite characters in FF7. No, I don't harbor any deep resentment for her. I just don't like her. (To tell you the truth, I don't like female characters) She is SUPPOSED to be the love interest of Cloud, except it doesn't work the other way around...

Cloud: (overhearing) Whaddaya mean?

Kasa no Miko: I'm saying that even if Tifa loves you so much, you don't return the feelings.

Cloud: (shrug)

Kasa no Miko: What do you mean by that?!

Cloud: (shrug)

Kasa no Miko: You mean you don't care?!

Cloud: (shrug)

Kasa no Miko: You're pretty clueless, aren't you?

Cloud: (shrug)

Kasa no Miko: (sweatdrop) And to think lots of girls are chasing you...

Cloud: (shrug)

Kasa no Miko: (throws hands in air) Fine! I rest my case. I'm not gonna bother you anymore about this love business. (trudge off to bother other bishonen)

Cloud: (to himself) Lots of girls are chasing me??? (shrug)
