Neopets Art

I love Neopets! Not only is it fun, and cool, and addictive, but it taught me almost everything I know about drawing. ^.~ All this stuff spans a year and a half of my art, so some of the earlier stuff is... *cough* certainly not what I'm drawing now. x.X Sorted from oldest to newest, as always. Due to the sheer volume of my Neopets drawings, I'm going to try to get them all up, but if I get bored halfway through and start putting up just a few samples, then you'll know why. x.X I'm also not going to put up my fan art for other people, or art trades, or pics that are too small for me to make a good thumbnail from them. The name(s) of the pet(s) in the drawing are underneath the thumbnail.

All of these (with a few exceptions) were drawn with pencil and paper, scanned in, and colored on the computer. Some were colored just from the pencil lines, others from a fine-tip pen outline, and the most recent ones re-outlined on the computer with the mouse before coloring. Colored and manipulated with Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4.0 and the mouse.

HINT: Unless you've got a morbid sense of humor or are obsessed with me or something, don't even bother with the first 5 pages or so. -.-;;

Sharpclaw Sharpclaw the yellow ruffless Eyrie. Again, the shading isn't pronounced enough to really see. It's frustrating to go back and realize it. ._. Especially since this was another spend-four-hours-shading-each-feather pic. *sigh*

Cacci, Blizz Aww, aren't they a cute couple? It's Cacci and her boyfriend Blizz, or as she calls him, 'Blizzy'. XD *cough* Well, I better talk more about the pic or risk getting slapped by Cacci, so I like the way I did Cacci's back, but her muzzle is actually bigger than Blizz's. o.O; And Blizz's tail could be a bit less... huge... But then I hadn't had much experience with regular Lupe tails back then.

Plat The much-too-subtle shading comes to a head with this pic. You can barely see the highlights. ._. That's probably why this pic failed miserably in the Beauty Contest, even in the Pteri category. x.X

Nyla The first example of my new Aisha style, and my new style with Nyla's markings, which are more a cream-and-brown than a yellow-and-black. The pose is kinda blah, but I was concentrating on the new style. I said 'new style' a lot, no?

Garedun Cacci's dad Garedun, in the act of giving the bracelet to her mum Larna. ^^ Innit it sweet? *cough* Well, I did the line art much before I actually went and colored it, so the pose looks a lot like my old stuff. I like the shading I did. For some reason I draw shadow-colored pets well, I dunno why. ^^;
