Neopets Art

I love Neopets! Not only is it fun, and cool, and addictive, but it taught me almost everything I know about drawing. ^.~ All this stuff spans a year and a half of my art, so some of the earlier stuff is... *cough* certainly not what I'm drawing now. x.X Sorted from oldest to newest, as always. Due to the sheer volume of my Neopets drawings, I'm going to try to get them all up, but if I get bored halfway through and start putting up just a few samples, then you'll know why. x.X I'm also not going to put up my fan art for other people, or art trades, or pics that are too small for me to make a good thumbnail from them. The name(s) of the pet(s) in the drawing are underneath the thumbnail.

All of these (with a few exceptions) were drawn with pencil and paper, scanned in, and colored on the computer. Some were colored just from the pencil lines, others from a fine-tip pen outline, and the most recent ones re-outlined on the computer with the mouse before coloring. Colored and manipulated with Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4.0 and the mouse.

HINT: Unless you've got a morbid sense of humor or are obsessed with me or something, don't even bother with the first 5 pages or so. -.-;;

Duo Heh, yes, I know the background is kinda funky, but I wanted to spice up this Duo pic, so... xD Art deco rules. ^.~ The pose actually took a while on the sketch, but once it came out right, it looks pretty cool. ^^

Ryama Influenced a little by Lumii, I admit, but I needed a cooler Ixi style, so... *cough* Anyways, I like the background, even though it was pretty simple to make. ^.^ Heh, almost forgot her horns, though. ^^;;

Aberran A pic of Aberran the Halloween Ixi for a contest to make a webpage pic for the Artists of Neopia DeviantArt club. I rather like it. I did the star in Corel DRAW (a vector program I happen to have on my dad's computer), so the perspective was a click of the mouse, not my own skills. ^^;; I like it, though... he looks all strong and manly. The plain background was one of the rules of the contest, otherwise I would have added something...

Neva Maani's youngest pup, dear little Neva. Her name means "little snowstorm" (appropriate since she was born during a blizzard), and here she's in her element... snow. I think the snowflake on her nose is just a bit too big... I like it otherwise, though. It's cute. My snow needs work, but at least I have an excuse... this was the first time I've drawn it. ^^;

Tulip Tulip, Rya's Floud/Primella cross. Ain't she beautiful? n_n I really like how her design came out, although I'm still not sure if she should swim rather than fly. I think she flies, though. x3 I would have done a background, but this was for Rya's page. You can also see how I made the lines contrast less by making their layer semi-transparent... which worked out all right, I guess.
