Neopets Art

I love Neopets! Not only is it fun, and cool, and addictive, but it taught me almost everything I know about drawing. ^.~ All this stuff spans a year and a half of my art, so some of the earlier stuff is... *cough* certainly not what I'm drawing now. x.X Sorted from oldest to newest, as always. Due to the sheer volume of my Neopets drawings, I'm going to try to get them all up, but if I get bored halfway through and start putting up just a few samples, then you'll know why. x.X I'm also not going to put up my fan art for other people, or art trades, or pics that are too small for me to make a good thumbnail from them. The name(s) of the pet(s) in the drawing are underneath the thumbnail.

All of these (with a few exceptions) were drawn with pencil and paper, scanned in, and colored on the computer. Some were colored just from the pencil lines, others from a fine-tip pen outline, and the most recent ones re-outlined on the computer with the mouse before coloring. Colored and manipulated with Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4.0 and the mouse.

HINT: Unless you've got a morbid sense of humor or are obsessed with me or something, don't even bother with the first 5 pages or so. -.-;;

Cacci Cacci needed a new pic for the layout of her page, so I made this... I was trying to make her look elegant and all, but some cuteness still showed through. >.< Ah well, it's very pretty, anyway. I like how the shadow turned out, even if the pose is kinda blah. (See her petpage for why she doesn't wear the bracelet anymore.)

Hira I like this pose. ^^ The shading is pretty good, too, although for some reason her gold ankle stripes look kinda weird... o.O; Drew this while on vacation at my grandma's, she saw it, and complimented me on it. ^_^

Ryama I thought it was high time for a more complicated look for Rya, so this is the result. It also started when I was working on my Ixi style, especially with the heads. Now they look a bit more realistic, a bit less childish... at least, I think so. Of course, the anatomy of the legs is really messed up. x_X But the shading turned out well. ^^;

Sharpclaw, Duo On the 25th of August, the twins turned two years old. ^_^ So I made them this new pic, and of course their new looks were their birthday presents. xD Sharpclaw's really cartoony, which doesn't fit his personality all that much, but at least my sitting poses are improving. Duo turned out okay, too. (P.S. This isn't to scale... Duo's a lot smaller than Sharpclaw is. ^.~)

Smeel Smeel is Duo's Symol... given to me by my super-awesome friend yodana! ♥ =D Smeel ended up being uber-cute, antisocial, and more than a bit evil... check out the black dots on his antennae, his chestnut/lightish brown color, and his eyes the color of dried blood. >;D
