Neopets Art

I love Neopets! Not only is it fun, and cool, and addictive, but it taught me almost everything I know about drawing. ^.~ All this stuff spans a year and a half of my art, so some of the earlier stuff is... *cough* certainly not what I'm drawing now. x.X Sorted from oldest to newest, as always. Due to the sheer volume of my Neopets drawings, I'm going to try to get them all up, but if I get bored halfway through and start putting up just a few samples, then you'll know why. x.X I'm also not going to put up my fan art for other people, or art trades, or pics that are too small for me to make a good thumbnail from them. The name(s) of the pet(s) in the drawing are underneath the thumbnail.

All of these (with a few exceptions) were drawn with pencil and paper, scanned in, and colored on the computer. Some were colored just from the pencil lines, others from a fine-tip pen outline, and the most recent ones re-outlined on the computer with the mouse before coloring. Colored and manipulated with Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4.0 and the mouse.

HINT: Unless you've got a morbid sense of humor or are obsessed with me or something, don't even bother with the first 10 pages or so. -.-;;

Maani For some reason, PhotoDeluxe messed up and wouldn't let me use anything but bright colors. o.O; I still don't understand what happened there. But anyway, this is a pic of when Maani gets a bit tired of being fed Omelette every day. ^^;

Sharpclaw My first picture of my yellow Eyrie Sharpclaw. This turned out rather well for a first pic, probably because I've had so much experience with drawing griffins (which are somewhat related) before I started drawing Neopets. The pose is kinda cute. ^^

Duo Isn't Duo the cutest? ^^ This was right around the time baby Neopets came out, but before the baby Poogle, so we joked around and said that if Duo were a baby Poogle, then she'd have an excuse not to reach the sink. As to the pic... I should have outlined it before coloring, instead of doing it right on the pencil. And the green sink is disturbing. o.O;

Plat The very first picture of Plat, holding his clipboard for Zafaras Rock! and glaring at the camera. ^^; In retrospect, I should have worked more on the feet and not been so sloppy with coloring, but hindsight is always 20-20. *sigh*

Maani Well, I always liked the effects and sorta abstract feel of this pic. I made it almost exclusively for the Beauty Contest, but apparently abstract isn't really popular with the voters, since I only got one vote besides my own. ^^; This was before I understood how much of the contest is popularity, of course.
