On this site, I will review a lot of things, and they will all be rated in the same way. Out of 5.
Personally, I don't think the rating is that important. Ideally, people would absorb the facts, then make up their own mind. However, people like a rating. It's natural. I sometimes like to have a quick look at a number (and then get annoyed that Edge rated Mr. Driller higher than Kuru Kuru Kururin).
Anyway, because I'm such a kind, understanding and considerate guy (hey… ), I'm going to tell you exactly what each number means, so you don't have work out how harsh or fair I am yourself.
Basically, I rate things using a number between -1 and 6. (0 and 5 inclusive.)
0 means I hate whatever it is I'm reviewing.
1 means I dislike it.
2 means I'm impartial to it.
3 means I actually like it.
4 means I find it to be something special.
5 means I reckon it's the créme de la créme.
