Does Reiki replace my doctors treatments?

Reiki is an effective and beneficial healing modality on it's own or in conjunction with allopathic medicine (normal doctor treatments).

Many doctors and medical bodies are recognizing and encouraging the benefits of alternative healing modalities, including Reiki. If you are concerned about whether or not Reiki will benefit you, speak with a Reiki practitioner. If you are concerned that it may affect your allopathic course of treatments (it will only enhance them), speak with your doctor.

The end decision on whether or not you accept Reiki is yours. You must be comfortable and confident with that decision. Reiki will not do as much to benefit you if you are rejecting it while you are receiving it.

You can find numerous practitioners through the Canadian Reiki Association website at http://www.reiki.ca/
