Logic Puzzels for bored Vulcans

Ever wanted to test your Vulcanish logical abilities? Well, here's you chance! Try the following puzzels and see how fast you can solve them. Most of them are elimination, but there is some variety.

Answers at the bottom of the page.

Problem one:
This problem was taken from the book "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone", by J. K. Rowlings.

What you are looking for in this puzzel is a safe way to get ahead, and behind.

Danger lies before you, while saftey lies behind,
Two of us will help you, whichever you would find,
One among us seven will let you move ahead,
Another will transport the drinker back instead,
Two among our number hold only nettle wine,
Three of us are killers, waiting hidden in line,
Choose, unless you wish to stay here forevermore,
To help you in your choice, we give you these clues four:
First, however slyly ther poison tries to hide
You will always find some on nettle wine's left side;
Second, different are those who stand at either end,
But if you would move onwards, neither is your friend;
Third, as you see clearly, all are different size,
Neither dwarf nor giant holds death in their insides;
Fourth, the second left and the second on the right
Are twins once you taste them, though different at first sight.

Click on the bottle below that you believe is a) the one to get you through the black flames forward, or b) the one to get you through the purple flames backward.

Problem Two:
This one came from my own imagination, so it won't be quite as good. It has similar goals and such.

Imagine this: You are standing in a pitch black room, you can't see a thing. You do not know which way you came from, and where you need to go. A voice from somewhere up above tells you that you are in mortal peril. It tells you that there are ten doors up ahead, one leads to your destination, one to the way you came, and the other eight to instant death. There are three painted doors, one of gold, one of silver, one of bronze, two of steel, and two of oak. You came through the gold door, and the bronze leads to saftey. You are told that you have to choose the number of the door you want to go through, then the path will be lit, and you will die, or live. You are then given these clues:
1. The painted doors are all multiples of the same number.
2. Both of the oak doors are on either side of one of the painted.
3. Gold is to the left of the oak.
4. The first steel is to the right of none.
5. The second steel and the bronze sit between two painted.
6. Silver and Bronze lie on even numbers, and Gold on an odd.
7. Both the first and last doors have two vowels side by side in there names, but are completely different in appearence.
8. Niether last or first are painted.
9. The gold door lies on this lucky number.
10. The first oak has the same number as the thirty-ninth digit of pi. (this excludes the first three)

Hopefully, this is enough clues for you to find your way safley out.
Good Luck!

Problem Three:

The following is one you might have heard before. If you haven't give it a try, it's fun.

You are running away from certain death and you come to a room with two doors, and two people. One of the people always tells the truth, and the other always lies. One of the doors leads to instant death, and the other to saftey. You don't know who always tells the truth and who lies, or which door leads to saftey, and which to death. You can ask one question of one of the people and only one. They both know which door leads to saftey, and which to death. What is the question you ask so that you are sure to know which door leads to saftey?

Problem Four:

A puzzle that might take more than logic:
Who Owns the Tribble?
