Highway Cricket

Highway Cricket is great fun for young and old. It also keeps the kids occupied and helps the little ones with their math. we've played Highway cricket with our children and grandchildren and found it a very relaxing way of travelling.

The Rules

  • Any Cars, trucks, motor bikes or busses are included.
  • Vehicles have to be:
    • moving
    • on the road
    • travelling in the opposite direction
  • Mum or Dad is the umpire.

Scoring

  • Car = 1 run

  • 4WD = 4 runs

  • Motorbike = 6 Runs

  • Trucks and Large Buses = You're out

  • Overtaking = 1 run

  • 60 Zones or less = Tea Break

  • Road works = Tea Break

Watch the driver if they're batting because they have been known to pull off the road when they see a truck coming. You can prevent this by removing all their points.
