Weight loss
Well today I can announce that both my wife and I continue to be successful with our weight loss goals.
I can say without implying who is heaviest or has lost the most that both of us have not only reduced our weight below 100Kg, but we have also lost over 10Kg each. Just think to 20 tubs of margarine strapped to your waist and then you will start to feel how we do.
Might I add that the weight loss just continues to happen. The only issue is the cost as a bit over $100 dollars a week for each of us, the food is expensive, but given that everything is provided it does make it easy. It is just weird opening an individually wrapped piece of bread for toast and opening a container with just one egg in it. But this has opened my eyes to a lot of ways to continue to have taste but still lose weight. logged by Anthony at 5:45:21 PM LinkSunday, 25 April 2004
Mastercard Moment
My children all have Bratz dolls now and I had one of those Mastercard moments today. The ad would go something like this.
Barbie Dolls... $300.00
Star Wars Figures... $200.00
Fisher Price dolls house... $100.00
Bratz Dolls... $50.00
Storage cubes for the above toys $20.00 each.
Watching as all the dolls/figures are dumped on the floor so the Bratz can use them as houses... Priceless

An engagement
Today my brother Matthew asked his girlfriend, Celia, to marry him. They have been seeing each other for exactly a year today. He asked the question where they first met.

Are you a Master of the English Language
I thought I did well, given I feel my grammar could be improved.
You are a STUDENT of the English language!
You are on your way to becoming gramatically sound; however, you must keep studying if you ever want to be a master. You do manage to speak better than most Americans, but then again, that's not really saying too much...
How grammatically sound are you?

Lite n Easy
I've started a formal diet this week through Lite n Easy. After all the stressful times I've been having over the last few years, I've stacked on the weight. Stress eating can only last for so long.
Anyway this diet is amazing, the food is provided and you just heat and eat. The breakfasts and lunches are larger that what I used to eat. I guess the idea is to get the food into you in the morning and you can use it during the day, while the dinner is smaller. The weeks worth of food all arrives in a esky and all the bread stuff goes into the freezer with dinners. The other breakfast and lunch things go into the fridge.
The main thing I'm getting out of it is the encouragement to walk. Spending all this money on food really make you want to exercise, otherwise you'll have wasted the money. I bought a pedometer to count the steps and work out how far I'm walking. The plan is to walk 10,000 steps a day. I'll hopefully let you know how much weight I've lost later on. logged by Anthony at 9:14:32 AM LinkTuesday, 23 September 2003
