An engagement
Today my brother Matthew asked his girlfriend, Celia, to marry him. They have been seeing each other for exactly a year today. He asked the question where they first met.
She said 'yes'
Conveniently we were all going to my parents for dinner so he told the rest of us tonight before dinner. They have a wonderful ring and as yet no plans for when the next step might be.
