Project Info

Idea behind this system is highly simplified system. For that reason there is almost nothing on extension board and all 53 ports are available for user (only connectors, XTAL and EEPROM are present). Because of lack of HF-10060 programming interface it is expected that microprocessor module will be programmed in HF-6128 system.

    Usage:

    HF-6169 will be used in various projects for prototyping. At least:

  • In HF-4001 special panel for digital control system has been made, it containes HF-17966 keyboard, reset button, function button, red on/off LED and blue function LED.


    Software

    THOS operating system. It is 8-th digital system with this operating system. About 200 user functions are available and simple aplications can be written "at hand" from internal HAVR compiler.
    Software has been modified quickly from HF-6158 where only motherboard hardware makes some differences. In all ATMEGA64 and ATMEGA128 digital systems (HF-6050, HF-6128, HF-6158, HF-6169) software is highly compatible what is very helpfull during modifications.


    Automatic motherboard recognision system

    Systems HF-6169 and HF-6128 are first systems where automatic recognision of main board by microprocessor module are introduced. Thus microprocessor modules HF-12268 and HF-12269 can read digital signatures from EEPROM (DRIVE2) of extension boards HF-60268 and HF-60269 and apply "BIOS" software specific to hardware on these boards. This system will be introduced also in other systems with multiple microprocessor modules and motherboards.
