Amanda's comments: This is one of the very best programs out there that is successful at removing spyware that has unknowingly invaded your computer. It removes spyware installed by America Online (AOL), WebHancer, Spinner and many more.
CopyUrl v2.3.0
CopyURL is a shell extension that helps you to copy different information from your Internet Shortcut files (entries in the Favorites folder or *.url files) to the clipboard. Then you can simply paste it from clipboard to your e-mails, HTML editor or other documents. It adds commands Copy URL, Copy Link and Copy Name to the shell context menu of Internet Shortcut files.
Each command puts different text to the clipboard: Samples given below.
- Copy URL copies "http://www.moonsoftware.com"
- Copy Link copies "<A HREF="http://www.moonsoftware.com">Moon Software</A>"
- Copy Name copies "Moon Software: http://www.moonsoftware.com"
If you have selected multiple links then CopyURL will make a list of the information. That is actually what makes it useful.
Amanda's comments: This is a great little add on. I use this so many times everyday I can't see how I ever did without it!
DAOx v1.54a
DAOx allows you to run Dark Age of Camelot in a window, and it will also allow you to run multiple instances of DAoC. This is only useful and needed for the classic game only.
Those of you who play Shrouded Isles already have a way to play in windowed mode, so you won't need this program.
Here is info on how to do this:
- Download the program DAOx.zip.
- DAOx Zip
- Unzip the file to a temporary folder, perhaps on your desktop somewhere.
- Install this program like you would anything else.
- Click the icon to run the program.
- You will be prompted to browse for the main Camelot folder where you have DAoC installed.
- After you direct it to the proper Camelot folder, run the program.
- From now on, whenever you want to play DAoC, use the DAOx icon instead of your normal game icon.
- It will start the game like normal, enter you password and choose a toon etc etc.
- After you spawn into the game, exit the DAOx program; otherwise after a few minutes it will crash your game and you will have to restart it all over again.
Again, this program is only useful for those of us who play the classic game only. After using this program you will now be able to access your desktop for instant messengers, email, surfing the internet, or looking up quest info for example.
Amanda's comments: I use this all the time now and am glad I am no longer tied to being in the game only. I can now chat with friends and do other things when things are slow in game! Although this is technically a "game hack", it is not used to gain unfair advantage over anyone else perse'. Also, now that Mythic has allowed users to run in windowed mode when using Shrouded Isles, this is no different than that.

Amanda's comments: This is a very small program in terms of file size and it does not "actually" install on your system (just download and click to run it). Although small in size it has many useful features, loads extremely fast and views most all file types. You can even use it as you do Windows Explorer.
MSN Messenger v5.0
Why this you ask me? Well, it would be nice to talk to Mandy while she works on your website no? hehe Of course I will allow ya to chat with others too.
After you download and install this, add Amanda to your friends list. When prompted for my info, use our guild email addy as my contact name. Enter "guild_magistrate msn.com".
Make sure you add the @(at) symbol before the msn.com part.
Then double click my name and we can begin chatting away into the wee hours of the morning while I am working on the website and you are playing the game. I get awfully lonely doing the website with no one to talk too =).
Amanda's comments: This is actually a pretty user-friendly instant messenger; and it also happens to be connected to Hotmail. You can also do group chat, and what I like about it as opposed to Yahoo Instant Messenger, is that you can transfer files, images, programs, and etc right from the chat box. I use this alot instead of sending a separate email with attachment.

Amanda's comments: This has got to be the GREATEST program I have ever come across online !!! It can be set up to replace Windows NotePad, you can easily create your own clips (small programs to do things), you can download many user created clips, and it also has a PasteBoard which is an extension of your Windows Clipboard. The PasteBoard alone is awesome and a real time saver. You absolutely have to give this program a try, especially if you do a lot of text work and html writing. Also, even though it is a shareware item, there are no "nag" screens, and no time limits. This is an incredible program folks ! I HIGHLY recommend it !
