| ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ( D ) GOD & JESUS - LIFE As concerning Gods� and Jesus� inherent characteristic of life, the scriptures write; 26. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; - John 5:26 This passage in Johns� gospel reveals along with other scriptures, the inherent divine nature of God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ. God is life and also Jesus Christ is life. Jesus makes this declaration when He walked as a man on earth. Thus, Jesus was God when He was a man on earth. The scriptures continue by writing; 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. - John 1:1-4 12. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. - John 8:12 27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. - John 10:27-28 25. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 27. She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. - John 11:25-27 14. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15. And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses. - Acts 3:14-15 These are a few of the scriptural proofs, ( also see John 3:14-18; 3:36; 4:13-14; 5:24; 6:39-40; 6:63; 6:68-69 & 20:30-31 ), in regard to the divine characteristics of inherent life and light of which both God and Jesus are. Thus, establishing that when Jesus was a man on earth He was also God. God is the God of the Living, the God of Life eternal ( Matt. 22:31-32 & Mark 12:26-27 & Luke 20:37-40 ). So also was Jesus Christ when He was a man on earth ( 1 John 1:1-2 ); 11. And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. - 1 John 5:11-13 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ( E ) GOD & JESUS � INCORRUPTIBLE & UNCHANGEABLE The scriptures prove the incorruptible and unchangable quality of which Jesus and God both are; 23. And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. - Romans 1:23 22. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23. Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. - 1 Peter 1:22-23 22. By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. 23. And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: 24. But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. - Heb. 7:22-24 6. For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. - Malachi 3:6 30. I and my Father are one. - John 10:30 8.
