Guilmon is a leader and it shows. He is tough and no nonsense, but keeping true to his fire theme, he's also a bit of a hot head and doesn't always think things through before he jumps in. He takes his duty to the Digital World and to Joel very seriously, despite their differences putting a strain on his patience. He is mistrustful of other humans and has a hard time getting close with the other Digidestined.
