The SuperStar Taurus is one of Star Cruise's smaller ships. Yet it's still a fabulous place to be pampered and treated like royalty for four glorious days. It's 159 meters long, 25 meters wide, cruises at 21 knots, has 480 cabins, and can comfortably carry 960 passengers and 400 crew members.

Of course, like any luxury cruiser, the Taurus features numerous restaurants, bars, sports, health, and recreation facilities. Plus there's a wide variety of excellent entertainment and gambling venues.

So far as the food is concerned, it is incredibly plentiful and temptingly scrumptious. Not only did I gain 5 pounds in 4 days, but I also broke out of my western comfort zone and fell in love with sushi and other raw seafood. All the included cuisine is primarily Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. Italian and some western food is also available--but you have to pay for it.
