�� If you think you might be gay, or if you know you're gay for sure, please always remember - - there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with you.

�� Ignorant people may try to convince you that you're a "sinner," that there's something "wrong" with you, or that being gay is your "lifestyle choice." But don't let them brainwash you. They're the ones who are being superficial and unaccepting. Homosexuality is not a choice!!!

�� Many will try to throw the Bible in your face and tell you that "God would never create people gay." Well that argument doesn't hold, because:

1. Who says there's only one God? There could be thousands (or more) of different Gods and Goddesses in the universe.

2. How do THEY actually know that the Christian God wouldn't create gays? Can they get into the mind of their own God?

3. How do any of us know how accurate the Bible is? Do we know for certain that it's 100% true? Couldn't some of the Bible have been altered over the course of time? How do we know what in the Bible is true and what isn't?

�� NEVER let anyone hold your sexuality against you. It's a part of who you are.

�� Other people may think homosexuality is just plain "gross." Well who are they to judge?! I'm a gay male, and even though I would never have sex with a female I don't see anything wrong with heterosexuality or heterosexual sex. Sexual intercourse between heterosexual men and women is how they express their love, lust, and affection, and how humanity procreates - - it's beautiful.

�� Don't let people tell you that homosexuality is "wrong" because of pro-creation, either. If the bodies of everyone in the world were meant to pro-create, there'd be even more overpopulation in the world than there already is.

�� In other words, don't ever let anyone tarnish your self-worth just because they have a problem with the size of your hypothalamus. Throw anything negative you've ever heard about homosexuality out the window.

WAYS TO TELL IF YOU'RE GAY

�� Here are some pretty good indicators, in my opinion, of whether or not you may be gay or bisexual:

- Do you have constant sexual feelings toward your own gender? If you do, that may be a sign of homosexuality/bisexuality, although it's not necessarily a clincher. Higher intimacy toward your own gender as opposed to the opposite gender may also be an indication that you're gay.

- Do you frequently get erections, orgasms, and/or wet dreams only when around your own gender, or when thinking about or fantasizing about your own gender? If you do, then there's a very good chance that you're gay. If you get erections, orgasms, and/or wet dreams when you're around, when you think of, and/or when you fantasize about both the opposite gender and your own gender, then you could very well be bisexual.

- When (if) you masturbate, do you find yourself imagining/fantasizing about your own gender, the opposite gender, or both? That's an extremely high indicator of your sexuality.

- Do you feel comfortable or tempted about the idea of having sex with someone of your own gender? If so, then you are probably gay. But if you are strongly inclined to have sex with either gender, you may be bisexual.

- If you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with a spouse of the same gender but not of the opposite gender, you're very likely gay.

Are you a male who's attracted to any of these dudes? If so, then you're probably gay or bisexual.

�� And remember, ALWAYS practice safe sex unless you've committed yourself to soemone as a monogamous life partner. I CANNOT STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF MONOGAMY ENOUGH!

�� As homosexuals (or as bisexuals), we deserve EQUAL RIGHTS as heterosexual, including the right to marry. Marriage is not a requirement for a happy lifelong relationship, but it should be a legal option. Ask for nothing less than equal treatment from others. We're not "better" than heterosexuals, but we're not "inferior" to them either. We don't need "special privileges" in society, but we deserve equal treatment under the law. There's no reason why we should be treated like second-class citizens.

�� In conclusion, love yourself for who you are - - your sexuality is a significant part of who you are. Don't flaunt it or include it on a job resumee (unless applicable to the job you're applying for) but don't feel you have to hide it either.

Take pride in your sexuality!
